"Code Enforcer" the new production of Steve Cauley  ("Soccer Mom") and Greg Dorchak ("Prison Break", "Xtracurricular", "Soccer Mom"...) is well ahead in Austin, TX. This modern comedy about Dave Petty, a pedigree of law enforcement's dynasty that is ingrained as a Neighborhood Code Enforcer having daily partaking with trash cans, ornaments and plants not congenial with the Lakefield Hills HOA codes has the prospect of becoming an interesting, entertaining and especially funny movie. The film has assured its success thanks to the plot and interesting cast, some of them well known in the field of comedy, especially the comedy of that master of innovative TV known as Garry Marshall, (Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Mork and Mindy and others). From Happy Days the production of "Code Enforcer" got that child star that became a full lady of the scene from the middle 70s to the middle 80s and that we all knew affectionately as the lissome and tireless sister of Richie (Ron Howard ) and daughter of Howard (Tom Bosley ) and Marion ( Marion Ross). We are referring to the cute Joanie (Erin Moran).

From Laverne and Shirley (1976-1983), Steve and Greg, taking the genius of Garry as precedent, work hard to get a male figure for the role of  Sonny Goblotto the husband of Bonnie (Erin Moran), and like a blessing there were the answer to their prayers, Eddie Mekka,( "Stuck in the Past", "Crossing Jordan", "Moonlighting", ...) now a full adult but with the same vitality, charisma and enchanting attitude of the times that make the character of  "The Big Ragu" Carmine Raguzzo, the High School sweetheart and break-and-back darling of Shirley ( Cindy Williams) the roommate of Laverne (Penny Marshall), a wonderful fulfillment as boxer and dancer. Mekka is also from the group of "Happy Days".

The beautiful Morgan Fairchild will add charm and coquettishness to the role of Mrs. Brown.

"Code Enforcer" with plenty of cast and crew have all the ingredients for burnishing a commendable illustration  from the Austin film making scene, we hope the public will know how to appreciate the effort and respond fast and willing to delight in this overture of Texan cinema. Len Zayas
